Ok, just finished the "dry" run and everything seems to work okay, except one parameter I'm not sure indicates a fracked GPU mount, or, is the result of the huge fatboy pot on the CPU.
Both started at room temp at bootup, and the CPU temp started climbing as usual. The GPU temp however, started climbing VERY slowly. The CPU was at 43C by the time the CPU hit 30C. Cpu at 48C, fatboy at 31C - which seems to be an improvement.
I'm only used to the thin teck 9s so maybe this is to be expected?
Posted a couple pics on the HUMONGOUS thread, a few more coming here. Can't really put this bad boy to the test after dinner tonight (date nite with the wife .. how effin sweet is that huh

: )
The pics didn't really order as I had hoped, to help tell the story. First I layed a shop towel over the mobo with a slit cut out for the pcie slot, this I then taped down as in pic #2. The towel extends to the end of the mobo as in pic 1. Then, I put down a layer of frost king (pic 3), cutout to fit from the card edge to the end of the mobo. Over THAT, I put another layer of shop towel and taped it to the pot to secure everything in place.
Pic 4 shows the dry run with both pots empty, the Fatboy ringed with shop towel and tape to hold it in place. I usually use rubber bands, but, couldn't find any in the house
So the rig sits as in pic 4, waiting for TIME to start pouring cold juice into those big, hungry, cavernous openings and going for the SR2
The 2 fans are 3 bladed deltas that push something like 125cfm. I forgot to anchor them down when I first started it up and they both flew right off the board back at my hands ... phwew.. a close one

More to follow
Let me know about your fatboy heatups w/o LN2 in it, I'd be curious to know if its normal, or if I need to remount... tks
