Six new models of 32GB Pico drives will begin shipping this week.

Just 15 months after launching the 8GB Pico drive, then hailed as the world's smallest 8GB USB drive, Super Talent is now able to pack an astounding 32GB of NAND flash into the same small dimensions. "Our customers have an insatiable need for higher capacity flash drives, but they don't want a big and bulky drive", Super Talent Director of Marketing, Joe James said in a statement. The Pico C drive measures only 31 x 12 x 3 mm and weighs less than an American nickel (~5g). Super Talent uses a COB manufacturing process for its Pico series to achieve the smallest possible size.

Can you actually run an OS from a flash drive? If so, what kind of performance does it give?

Try running from an OCZ Throttle - it writes with 30 MB/s but it reads @ 90 MB/s and it is perfect for a simple OS

Um yah great...

USB is 480MBits per second.. so ... they near the max and sell it for 520 dollars?

What is worse... newegg is limiting you to 100 quantity on purchase! Damn I ma going to need to create more than few newegg accounts to build my slow ass TB flash drive setup :p

Seriously though..

I have an old school 1GB USB drive.. it takes like 30 seconds to fill up... and these things sell for like a dollar.

I guess what I am asking is WHY?
