Default Phase Building Supplies Incoming Thread

So finally getting my new Load Tester together, The copper block has been cut and drilled and will be shipped out to me tomorrow. I have everything else but the Variac which will be np to get.

This is the guide I am following.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...t=99979&page=2

And some pictures of the block coming my way. The extra stuff in the picture like heaters and thermal cut off switch I have so I will add all that when the block comes.

The heaters I will be using are 2x 200watt heaters so I will be able to test all the way to a 400watt load.

I will do more pictures when the block gets here.

I changed the thread title so I dont make more threads on the same subject

Can you make the block glow in the dark?

Very cool Bill and will be very good stuff, the same stuff they put in snapple. We're talking a whole new verse to delve into when reviewing pots, single stagers, even air h/s capabilities.

Maybe rig it up so that you can mount s775, 1366, 1156 mounts to it for true blue testing enviroment mounts.

Well that will be able to strap onto any hold down kit, just 2 screws is all you need and a hold down plate.

So any Phase/Cascade wil be able to use this.

But with new CPU's and higher heat loads I decided to make it a 400watt tester so tunning for higher loads will be easyer.

I can tell you right now that at 4.0ghz a 965 C3 is pushing 300watts (for the whole computer), 4.2ghz and your over 300watts. So picture a 5.3ghz chip on Cascade and what heat load that is.
