Power supply maker Topower has launched the new Tiger 1200W power supply. The new flagship is rated at 1200W and Topower is clear to point out that this model is designed for computers with extreme graphics card configurations. E.g. NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 295 in Quad SLI. The power supplies is branded 80 Plus and offers 6+2-pin PCI Express design with 300W output per channel. The power supply use modular cables and offers up to 12 SATA power connectors.

The one thing I do not like about this power supply is the way they did the connectors. Shouldnt the connectors in the box be female types instead of what they have ?

You really want to be careful when working around that unit and not touch those connectors.

I have not had one of PSU's from this company so not sure if they have anything to cover up those connectors.
