On a serious note, that shit looks very very cool.

can you rewire a PSU with ribbon style cable? Is it available commercially in high enough gauge?

what he needs to do is make a damn video of how to do that on the cables! i wanna set my on fire after looking at his project

Some PSUs use it Ultra made some that did, I think corsair has a couple of units that use it. Best design I ever saw for 24 pin. nice and neat without the bulk of sleeving.

The only ribbon cable I've seen was ide. I didn't know there was ribbon cable for mobo 24 pin connections. Didn't think the gauge would handle the wattage/amps or whatever you call that electricity stuff I did consider going pico psu since its a low power machine but didn't look into it far enough.

Well IDE cables would not handle the load, but, that was just an example of a ribbon cable....



I will look into it more. I dont like Ultras silver cables but I think corsair uses black one for somethings.
