Ok. I tested with the 920 @ 4.8ghz to be on the safe side....
Idle temps (desktop/bios) it sits at -41
Loaded w/ a wprime1024 load she rises to -37
This is after 2hrs of fresh os installs. After I powered the pc off temps immediately fell to -42.
I want to move the probe again. the closer I can get it to where the cpu/head meet the better right?
I guess I needed to be patient... the compressor didn't get as hot as did before, and it didn't seem to have as much flood back with a better load put on it... Looks like this unit and I will get along just fine, since I would rather bench at 5+ghz anyway. I will test that tomorrow.
