I recently reconfigured my system where I now have 3 rigs sharing 1 monitor, 1 keyboard, and 1 mouse. I looked at the DVI auto switches at MC but they were 100 to 300 dollars... OUCH

So I started looking in another direction and was quite surprised to find out what I did
My X58 Bencher had an HDMI adapter cable, and my gamer had the DVI connector, so instead of sharing the DVI port, I'm using the HDMI port for two computers with an auto switching... ummm ... switcher
At MC, this would have cost at least $30 per cable and prolly the same for the switch

So I looked on Amazon.com
I got the switch for about 8 bucks, a HDMI/DVI cable for about 10 buck, and a 10 foot HDMI cable for about 10 bucks

If you're a Prime member, like I am, you get overnight shipping for 3.99, or, free second day shipping.
Such a deal
They are basic cables, but for benching you don't need a $100 HDMI Monster cable
I plug the keyboard into the monitor USB hub and the mouse into the keyboard hub. Each rig has a $10 4 port hup extending to the middle of the monitor and I physically (jeez) move the USB cable a couple inches as needed
