Fluke>UEI>Extech IMO

I've got a DT200 and really like it most of the time, it does seems to chew through batteries though. I'll probably add a used Fluke 52 if I ever need more than 2 inputs.

Any links for temp probes would be useless unless they have been tested. All I can tell you is the ones provided with quality units such as the UEI have proven to be accurate and reliable for our needs. I would'nt be surprised to find that all K-type probes are manufactured by just a few companies and not a nickel's worth of difference between them lol. Probably more dependent on the thermometer itself and the placement of the probes.

I've been looking at some Fluke temp sensors........they sure make nice multimeters, so I would imagine the temp probes are nice as well.

Just ordered a UEI-DT302. Tired of my cheap $20 meter. Would have gone with a Fluke but the price was a lil steep for me. I'm sure the UEI will treat me just right for $141.

You did well Nip - You will find it to be an excellent meter. Fluke = extra expense with no added performance.

That's what I figured. Of course there are those that will prolly argue the fact that the Fluke is that much better than the UEI but not enough for me to spend another $100. Of course what the hell am I talking about, $100. I wipe my arse with that when it comes to buying hardware it seems like. What can I say either I am an idiot or an addict! I keep telling myself to slow down but I keep forgetting what I told myself the day before.
