u need the same patch for Win7 as u do Vista. I wouldnt bother cause it runs like crap just like in Vista an XP 64 in my experience, XP 32 all the way for that Bench

You dont want to use vista thats for sure. You also dont want to use ANY 64 bit OS. XP is ok for it....but 7 32bit is way better

Also you dont need to run any patch. Just navigate to the aquamark directory, and delete the file "Direcpll.dll" and you good to go.

Thanks for the heads up. I havent tried 32 bit 7, sorry for being misleading.
How much better in win7 does it run? Looks like Im doing an install soon.

Im still getting 50k less in Win7 32 compared to Xp32. Any Ideas whats wrong?

Did you turn aero theme off? I honestly haven't benched on win 7, but I know if that is enabled it eats up your vmem.

Intersting, I thought windows 7 went to Basic visual theme automatically when running a game or a benchmark, always seemed to have done so for me...

I don't have any suggestions as running in win 7 32 has always been slow for me. Karmakazi must have the secret to success.

Never paid attention buddy. I was just shooting from the hip there on that one. I use RTM for a while on the gaming setup, but never benched with it.
