SSD's for benching BAD IDEA...

They corrupt very easy.... only good for pcmark...

get a couple velociraptors or a single and run for benching

Exactly. Its a big investment for 1 bench run.

Yep - Couple of bsod's and the array is toast. You will be pissed and starting from scratch again.

I love them

I have gotten so used to the speed of these bad boys that going back to HDD's is not an option for my 24/7 use.

I heard that ... another year or two and mechanical drives will be a thing of the past.

I still use them for storage but couldn't even think about an OS install on one anymore

SSD = WIN IMHO
