the bios is for gulftown.... the mod is for westmere

No worries, if it require a mod. I'll do it myself.

Rev1 will require a mod, but not the rev2 of the E762.

its a SMD mod... basically your moving a SMD from one spot to another.

Very small would not recommend

I've been speaking with a pretty inside man. He says revision 2 aka latest E762's don't require any mod for westmere, just bios flash. Revision 1 of E762 had some signal issues for westmere..
