Tested the new ab today, no go. I called msi and spoke to a tech about it. He said all of the earliests versions of it were shipped with a bad bios. I asked him to have the product manager call me about the fact that our team has five and they are all fucked. Told him its bad pr for the #1 team to have 5 pos's. Lets see if he calls or contacts me. In the interim I am gonna flash my card with Dent's bios and see if it makes a difference. Stay tuned and GL

Mine sucked TOO...The best i did on air was 1035 gpu and the memory clock was just chit....like 1210....My XFX just kills it...I had one increased score with 3D05 by like 18 points but a low 1025/1210 clock...
Makes since that it would be 3D05....05 seems to always like something different....

I don't really understand why the clocks are so bad because it runs as cool as the standard 5870....

I sent it back!!!!!!!!!!

waiting on the 5870 Matrix 2gb

When they first showed people testing it, wasn't it a 2gb model??????

There ya go, throw the "Team" into the mix and "#1", lets see if it ruffles any feathers. I'll hit some peeps up for the Golden vga bios.

Screw it. I sent mine back. I'm not going to buy another POS!!!! Radeon card again. They sucked us all in with their bait and switch tactic. I don't believe they didn't know the bios was bad. I think they just figured we'd suck it up. The green goblin is around the corner.

Just fired mine up with a dry pot to check the bios, and its the same as Dent's bios. No point in flashing it to the same bios. I hope it doesn't need to go back because of a bad vreg. I am gonna become worse than the worst case of syphilis to the tech folks over at msi till I get some answers. Fucking dumbasses

You wont get me to buy another Radeon product any time soon. The last cards were kind of ok but the drivers sucked. Tech suppport blows. And the bait and switch routine was just cut throat and the last straw. Cut your losses now and ditch the bitch before its to late.
