I didn't mean it like that, but I know both teams were lucky. I'm just saying it was their only goal and it was a fluke from the goalie. I was impressed by USA's game play though.

USA almost scored a 2nd goal on England. That would have completely wrecked their entire momentum...

Agreed! England sucks this time around! Also I'm a big WC nut and this is the reason why i haven been here at all in the last 2 weeks. I think I only missed 2 games in the entire thing so far.

Yeah, that was horrible... I've been watching the WC like mad. I wish we had more good footie at my house. Anyways, i'm excited for Argentina v Mexico in elimination round and I also want to see the US advance.

They were far from winning that game! Brazil had 90% of ball possession and in the end they replaced 3 mid-fielders to give them some rest and let some rookies have a goal on the WC. Brazil ended up with a comfortable 2x1 considering that 1st games are nerve wrecking and that new Adidas ball is terrible.

i'm asian...nokor and japan are tiger cup champs....if they get close to winning the world cup...well i'll be proud of them...

i also like iran iraq and saudi arabia...those are asian cup champs...if they get world cup that would also be awesome
