Are you using the 5k btu or 11k btu unit?

I used a 7k btu and occasionally got down to -42c in the loop. You lose loads of transfer efficiency at the block however but its about getting your feet wet in sub-zero land.

You could also skip the chiller and get a cheap pot, fill it with dry ice and head into -70's
