That pot does have a pretty wild temp swing on quad cores.

Acetone = #1
99% Isopropyl Alcohol = #2


99% gelled up on me in that pot. Get acetone it is cheap and just make sure the windows are open when you bench.

Wrap a paper towel around the top of the pot (that insulation will sweat), and get a paper cup, cut the bottom out and stick it on top of the pot to prevent splashing I was using styrofoam cups when I was using alcohol. that WILL NOT WORK with Acetone.

I tried making a funnel out of a piece of paper for the top... it did not work well enough IMHO. an 8-12oz cup should fit on it perfectly.

i monna go get some Acetone tomorrow after class..
and now i have to get a new screen..... i was benching in my room with that 40in TV and non of our windows opens.... i have no idea why is that...
i have a "few" funnel in the house (hell... i can prob open my own chem lab and bio lab by now) i'll return them someday
