Vivi thanks for the comment in the 01 contest . I'm like alot of us here. We aren't the smartest, most knowledgable, or have all the cooling equipment, but I'll be damned if we don't yearn for the knowledge and have the balls to keep pushing it. Thats why your guide is greatly appreciated. Not many people post that kind of shit. I'm sure everybody here has soaked something up from this.

100's of runs today and I'm finding i7's not as necessary for per-run LOD adjustments. My highest run so far was at a constant.

Food for thought

Yep, the more times you run a test the higher the chances are it will be lower...sometimes by a lot. The flip side to this is there are more tests than just the well known CL which can bug

It can get very complicated, it really does take a lot of work to get a good '01 run off. The paramaters of the 01 challenge will really make this obvious, it can drive a person to drink

there is just keep at it

getting the order and LOD right is just part of the game but a very important one once you've got all the other settings etc sorted out

For and aired out 285 I think I'm very close to max but I did find that just using an LOD at 5.1 gave me better results, and trust me I tried from 3.0-9.0 on each to come to that conclusion lol.
