They do have both 3.5" and IDE based SSDs.

i haven't had time to crack the new ones open yet
the new ones do have a option for ssd but it's like really small i am not sure what kind are they

all my Xbox360s are the jaspers
they are all 2.5" SATAs (on the old one where you can pop off the hdd and put it in your friend's system if you have any friends me i just pop it in to diff 360s)
