I think we're getting a little too micro managed here! I mean, how many of us could have LN2 pots for RAM anyway ???? I think it's a non issue that doesn't need to be needlessly added to the rules dammit!!!!!

Air/Water is fine.... I really dont see anyone doing it but we should stick this to rules taht will allow everyone to be competitive.

In that case, I think the speed should be lowered to 3Ghz so I can use my laptop Also, no tweaking allowed because there are so many people that are better tweakers than I am

I mean, fair is fair

TBH - I only froze my RAM once and didn't notice much if any difference. Hadn't planned on using the Dominator pot anyway. BUT - since most of us don't have RAM water cooling I think RAM needs to be air cooled only, in the name of fairness of course

no ruffling just have seen where this can turn into a big debate where everyone wants each piece of hardware they dont have disallowed....

Next thing you know there will be requests to limit Memory to 1333MHz because thats the fastest dimms they have.

I want it to be fair cpu to cpu.... an even limit that most should be able to reach and then the rest is up to the bencher.
