Got hold of a HIS 7970.....Would be testing it tomorrow....Only OS option Win 7 x64??? or x86 works just as good????

I can't even get a driver that works on XP ...........
Effin AMD Beta release bullshit .......... 12.1 previews no go as well as 11.12 ....
If you find something please let me know, would like to go cold with these but really just a waste of juice with out XP ..... I hope they release dirvers soon as even their 7 64 drivers are dead linked now 
On a brighter note bro, the card is an absolute beast with a fan that can easily remove a finger on high speed. Down side for many but I like it .............. 
But then again I like the low seats at the cup race so I can hear the cars better

Witchy you planning to use it on LN2 soon??? Let me know if its possible/impossible to mount without the EK bracket??

Ah well, shipping was cheap...ordered 2 anyways....but is there any advantage of putting them on LN2??? Is there a Mod for OCP/OVP??? or a way to put more volts than 1.3V????

Got a decent clocker it seems, can easily do 1250/1700Mhz, have not even tried higher, hopefully it does, anyways please bear with me for the stupid questions, but any tweaks for unigine and 3dm11??? Have heard there are a few for unigine?? Dom/Witchy/Allen/Patch, any help would be much appreciated.......

I just use high blck and set to 3d to performance set everything else to performance and make sure you disable tessellation and I run it on win7 64bit

I just run retail 7 
Use 11.12 for Heaven and 3DM11 /12.1 Previews blow ...
TBH AMD has yet to put out a decent driver for these cards especially for 32Bit XP
I tried running my screen at bench resolution but it did not help ....
Push it till yuo see pretty colors .............
