No regrets with my MSI 790FX-GD70.
It's been a fun one to get into AM3 with and the BIOS has enough options to allow for some serious tweaking but not so much that it will overwhelm you.
Runs cool and so far, no problems to note except that the RAM slots closest to the CPU fan can be a tight fit because of how close they are to it. That's the only real con I can think of.
The LED readout visible with the sidecover off or through a windowed case is nice (POST codes and CPU temps once the system is booted), the CMOS reset button is a plus and the OC dial really works.

Of course you can't go wrong with Ol' Bud's suggestion either. Both boards are great performers and have results to back it up wiith. I guess the only real thing is what you want and how much to spend.

Well i think MSI is a bit overpriced so when i upgrade ill stick with Gigabyte...
