Man!
I'm glad to see you make it and count myself lucky. I had two run-ins with deer last month or so and damaged two vehicles but personally didn't get hurt in either incident.
Sold one and fixed the other so yes, compared to what happened in your case, I'm lucky.
Good to see you back in the mix to whatever extent it may be.

Ah, anyway, now a chance to recap on things. The last year I have essentially dropped out of the OC scene to concentrate on family life. My wife is back in school, which makes things really busy. My son has always had a lot of learning problems, so I have been spending a lot of time with him. I had to resign from ClubOC because of the shift, so I havent reviewed hardware since. Not all has been lost though, I still work on SSDs at my job, which is always exciting, and I have been delving into the whole smartphone world (Android, of course). I also found my dream guitar for a steal of a deal, and since my son has a natural inclination to music, been doing a lot of that.
As to the accident....its turned out to be an interesting experience. Because I was able to capture the incident, I got an interview on the news, and its been quite the talking point amongst friends and family. Luckily, the trucking company that owns the semi that hit me are paying for the damages out of pocket, so my car is getting fixed instead of totaled. They are also paying for my rental car while I wait for repairs to be done, which should be on Wednesday or so.
Anyway, I want to get back into the swing of things, if only a little bit. It's almost upgrade time and I feel ashamed that I am pretty much back to clueless. So, I will probably be lurking a lot while I feel like I get my feet back under me, and hopefully will be in a state that I can contribute knowledge again.
Plus, you guys have always been great to hang out with, would hate to piss that away.
