nice! what year is yours?
It was a 1969. Bought it new for $3800 with the high performance 396/450hp engine and a high performance auto trans (turbo hydro 400 I think?). Pulled the engine out every winter and sent out parts for customizing. Put it back together in my bedroom one year, my mom almost shit :

With an L88 cam and solid lifters the engine loaped (right word?) and the lifters made a racket when it idled My friends used to call it the popcorn machine cause I always kept the lifters loose

I was parked in the local hang out one night and some kid in a Barracuda with 3 dueces pulled and asked me if I wanted to "race that pig". I said sure, but soon as I started the engine he just drove away :

Holy shit dude! that's awesome!
I think that's the only car I'd never get it in any other color other than black with white stripes on it, or just pure black
That's like one of my biggest dream car, other than a sexy red vette I want the LS9 but I still want the old body style one of my friend was talking about how we can always pull it out of those newer POS in it and drop it in
But again, the C6 Z06s are still super sexy, I monna get some one to pass a law saying the only color can be put on a vette is red or you'll be sent to guantanamo bay
I am one of those red blooded pre-70s American muscle car fan that's anti lamborghinis just happen to be born in the wrong time at the wrong part of the earth

I was only in one BMW car, but liked the feel of it. I drive my Aunt's Caddy GTS once in a while and starting to like how it moves too. Everything is tight. Normally I am not a big fan of cars with low profile tires, but witha clean enough suspension it can work. I would never but that kind of tire on a car costing under $20,000 though. ridiculous.

Then again I am more of a truck guy. Most vehicles I owned were pickups or conversion vans. I dont like having to step down into a vehicle.

The wife and I test drove a 325i without the sports package and she loved it too, so we go back to the showroom and the guy is flippin through pages of options when I saw the "Sport Package" come up That's the package that include the larger rims, low profile tires, and a much stiffer suspension. Turned out they had one in stock A "titanium metallic silver" outside w/ black leather inside ... we drover it home

Unfortunately , the wife doesn't like the stiff suspension so she stayed with her Lexus and I kept the beamer. Besides, I was told it was my b'day present anyway

Sports package 3 series sit lower due to the suspension though Rich, so you would probably prefer the standard sedan
