there is not much to it
very similar to my original post
all you do is change to 2:8 ratio with tighter timings pretty much
it's important to work out your temps correctly as well and get a proper mount on the classi

HEy Dinos - Where does that CPU max out on the 3d's on '06 both my 965EE and 975EE seem to hit a wall at 4.8Ghz this is with both the R2E and Classified.

2cheap > erm i have some problems with this CPU and i still really havent gotten around to getting stable clocks

i will hopefully get a GTX295 and really start going for it

i am hoping 5.2GHz 06

it's not great for 3D :( and this nehalem has been a bitch to tune for 3D no matter what board :(

i am going to start with 3D some more i think
did some testing on SS and found i could do up to about 5230MHz '05 and 5.1Ghz 06 but its not always able to do this....

efficiency seems ok in 05 and 06. i do have some canyon issues in 05 for sure but that's gotta be my card bugging low..i've run out of ideas there


here's an 06 (this was i think 4th run on same boot....you can see that i've done some 5GHz runs there as thats where i did my second run in think and left it on bumped the speed and reran

how about some 3DMARK Vantage Performance at 5050MHz CPU on SS hitting -40C evap
