Depends on the cpu but if you take a look at the recent Gulftown 2d top spot holders, they've all dropped their gulftowns down to two cores ht off and they are running the smack down on 2d records. I dropped mine for 01 and it puts less of a temp load on the cascade allowing me to run away with it to 5.5ghz versus 5.2ghz 6c12t.

Had mine up to 5626Mhz (29 x 194) @1.68v and ran a 2.82 wprime32, but couldn't get a pic in time before it BSOD :( Rom was my witness though )

I'd die around -131C and come back to life at -126C so I'm thinking it's the board not the chip. If I have time before I leave for Denver I'll try swapping boards and see what happens.
