Wow. I dont like the look of indiviudally braiding every PSU wire, but the hosing and stuff looks amazing.

24pin might look good braided too if it was broke to into groups of 4 or something instead of every wire.

not really planning on sleeving the psu. Too time consuming but who knows, maybe I'll get a wild hair one day.

No GPU in the loop yet. Need to get my hands on a decent card and nickel waterblock for this rig.

Wish I was better at taking pictures, proper case lighting can be quite the bitch.

Maybe this can help bro. I like the monitor with a white screen idea in the thread posted below.

http://www.overclock.net/computer-ca...g-updated.html

I used a fluorescent lamp with the flash off on my most recent mini itx build.

Fl;ourescent was always a nono in photography but that is all I use too.

Reflected light is key, gets it bright enough without getting glare spots.

Also photos can be brightened in software, so too dark is not necessarily bad, dark photos software lightened are how to get great pictures of ICs and the writing on them IMHO.

Hmmm really. I know there are alot of fluorescent photo lighting kits out there now. Maybe it all depends on the type and placement of them.

No I think it has more to do with the change to digital photography. I was not saying that no one should use it, just that it used to produce less than desirable effects.

My aunt was a professional photographer and my parents had a darkroom as a hobby in the 70/80s, and both told me that fluorescent lighting was not used for photography (actually found this out shooting video one time as too why... Fluorescent light actually flickers, it is not a steady glow like incandescent).

It does not seem to effect my stills however.. but might explain why I have to make sure to double and triple shoot everything to get that one great pic. (Aside from my over caffeinated hands and poor photography skills)

Considering my work lamp is at least 15 years old, I would assume the change is in the camera equipment (the light looks no different than work lights of 30 years ago. Ballast, bulbs, and starter).

IT is also possible that teh CCFLs used inthose cheap photokits are different. Higher flicker rate maybe.
