So is it that bad that Intel didn't solder the ihs to the core ?

My ss is tuned to hold 300w -45c

But ill find out wed or maybe tuesday if UPS doesn't take forever to deliver.... Just remembered I only get to sleep 2hrs after work tuesday morings :S so well see if I get anymore sleep that day... Going to try to get the wife let me bring in the ss out of the garage in to the house lol

It's so damn hot in there during this time of the yr

its not taht its "bad" its just not as good for thermal transfer so under SS I was getting some bad thermal spikes....

also on LN2 getting to cold bug or even full pot temp on a chip with little or no CB is very hard
