Thanks for the offer bro, but already hit the buy button.

Went with the eVGA after doing some research they claim anything purched after OCT. 31 should be solid, They have a page on the site to pump in serials to see if it an effected unit.

If you have one they ship out with a complementary t-shirt and a return label and you send it in once you get the replacment.

Pretty solid support as always over at eVGA

Hope I get a good one

Killer price on the Corsair though, sure it will go fast

It's here

SUPERNOVA 1300G2

Here are a few pics of what you get with this unit, If it is as good as my old one I will be thrilled, but the Silverstone Strider finally gave up the ghost.

The unit itself is heavy and has a sandblasted type of finish that gives it a very rugged durable look, Hoping the same attention to detail was used on the inside components as well. The fan has no gaurd, it is molded into the metal itself. Mr. Scott is spot on as this unit is identical to the SuperFlower 1300 watt unit with a different sticker

Not overly impressed with the quality of the cables themselves, but of little consequence for a benching power unit. However would not recommend this for a rig where ascetics will be of great importance. they simply do not bring the shrinks close enough to the ends The 1500 watt unit has individual wrapped cables with out shrinks but comes at a premium price.

Hope this unit can bring the volts and last a few years ..........
