I can't really discuss the topics effectively when the topics change from one post to the next....so I will summarize and leave it alone.

Global can be expensive, but many of us have far more than $1500 invested in our bench equipment, and many of those don't work globally.

A used 980x can now be had for the same amount as a used Xquad cost just months ago.

The key to being a top guy on this team is constant flipping of equipment, and the constant search for a better result through work ethic and better product. If you use the component and immediately sell it, you will stay liquid for the next big thing.

The team thrives from constant benching from as many members as possible on a consistent basis. We need to have our "global" guys to attract attention and lure possible recruits. Everyone on the team serves as an essential part.

The global guys will only succeed as much as the components allow them to. Yes mods and software are essential, but you will never catch a 6.5Ghz chip with a 6GHz one no matter how determined you are. Sponsorship might serve to increase our chances of finding a better component, but it will never happen if we don't continue to hunt for it in the interim.

Lastly, sitting in your race car discussing how to best run the race while most of the cars are 3/4's of the way around the track, doesn't sound like a good strategy to me. Those of us who are in the pack at the front, know what must be done to win this thing for us. The uber cool part is if you ask us for our opinion or tactics for victory, we will be more than happy to help you in any way we can. We know through experience what to do and what not too.

If it were me, I would stop talking and listen. If I wanted to know more about 2d I would approach Splave or Gutterz about it....CPUZ, Patch is your man....PCMark, Jor-El or Rick....3d=Dent, Duke or me....all of the above or just epic moral support, Kal is the bomb. Just pick your target, shut up, and get to work.

Well put brudda. There are tons of killer points you hit in that post. First, global does matter. The good thing is that we have a mix of guys who cover both hw and global ends of the spectrum. Shut up and listen is some very good advice. We have guys who have proven success. Obviously they know something about what they are doing. The absolute best part is...... ding, ding, ding........ we are a humble, happy, giving group of overclockers who are willing to help each other out!!! Nobody here has too big of an ego to help the other guy out. That list for 2d & 3d is epic too. Some great benchers we have here.

Megadittos SpliggityDiggity! There are so many great things about the guys we fly with. I take great comfort knowing that my friends have got my six. I also must add that our fleet seems to continually attract more and more great members who have the same drive for success and giving nature. It seems kind of cliche, but teams who play well as a team, always finish on top. We are blessed to have so many guys who understand that and a leader who nurtures it.

Exclamation Gogogo oca

Well said Reason I picked OCA right there!

In less then a month in OCA I had the chance to talk and meet with great members and just exchange ideas about our common passion without any bs or people asking for anything in return! This experience guys is unique.

Our team is so respectfully classy and willing to help people (even when they come from another forum and another team) that I said to myself that something must stink there BUT IT DIDN'T!

You guys make this sport look pretty and we all know that on a competing level this is hard to achieve.

Kudos to all members of OCA for keeping it real and making overclocking a fun and honest sport.

Cheers for a team that fully understand the meaning of the word T-E-A-M

Great to hear that Jor. Sucks to be the other teams that think otherwise about us but I think we like it that way
