The SS UPS messed up is already back with runmc. After about 20-30min the compressor would be super hot and idle temps at stock 2.66ghz was -37c. I tried not to run it after it was obviously jacked up.

aww cant go read the whole thread im on my cell at work

but usp left mine outside when it was snowing and he even put on the box to keep the box upright the left it upside down

but mine gets hot if i dont have the ac on room would get in to the 80F+ but it kept my 920 at 1.6v i think it was @-42c

Very nice temps. Generally -35c on 300w load tester is ~-40c or better on i7.

All in all it sucks to receive a defective unit, but what can ya do about UPS. Runmc's communication and service has been top notch so far. That kinda makes it ok since I don't think any of this was his fault. He's a super nice guy and added a little extra spice for this replacement unit. As always though, I'm waiting to test it to come to my final conclusion. Based on the service and care he's given so far, as long as the unit arrives safe, I'm sure it'll perform just how I want. For the record, the replacement has taken a little bit, but I didn't wanna rush anything to make sure he had time to tune it right. -35c at 300w sounds about right too.
