Still have the old Battlestar shell in the basement. I"m thinking of doing some painting and using that for the air breathing gamer. Tt esports has a nice case for $129, but these day's even that much money is out of my reach :( Since that is the gamer I'd be keeping, the fuglyness wouldn't be an issue lol

Played UT3 on the RIVE/3960 using the MSI Lightning yesterday. Hat the board at 4.5 with a Frio OCK and the card at 025 (w/ 32GB of that sweet samsung 1600 mhz low profile ram :thumbsup: ) and it did a great job. Next I'm going to test my MIVE/2600k and see if I can hit 5ghz gaming and if so I'll keep that and get new case for the RIVE gamer. Paid so much for the 2600k I can never recover the $$ so thinking that would be the best option :D

The Corsair 600T is a nice case also, watercooled SLI would be pretty easy to pull of IMO.

Shannon should be able to offer up some good advice for a nice TT case.

found a nice tt case, but can't remember the name of it :P At $129 it's reasonable too. Have the rig setup on a Banchero w/ 32GB of RAM to see if it games well, and initial indications are it does :thumbsup: Using a single ASUS GTX 680 if/when I retire my current 980x based gamer, then will put the watered 580s in the Corsair 800D that's already got the loops, resvs, etc for them.

Since I'd be keeping the 3960x gamer, a refurbed HAF will do the job more than adequately. Besides, can't really afford a new case right now :ohcrap:

the ROG x79 and 2x 580\s on water will be a great gamer even if you just lay it on the desk bro, skip the details and get in here so I can smoke your ass ................. :laughing:

going to hit some retro if either my chip or one that comes along is competetive

can\t wait for some new GPU's come out even know they are going to be just refresh generation
