Wow that is awsome, what made you roll with MSI ?

I was doing some researh on the Bio Star EX and a few others

Really wondering if ROG connect can be of any help with this chip ???

Def get a board that has Software for upping clocks in OS. Asus has turbo-v and msi has control center II GD65 is a nice board and very affordable!

Anything around or below the $200 range that you would recommend over the GD65? I really want this to be my grinder platform, lots of cards.

Good info , so there is room in the OS for better clocks ???

what are you using bclk or multi in software ? or both

example for the 5.6 chip

boots 56x100, doesnt not boot 57x100 (blinking command prompt equals your max multi for the amount of cores you are using) so then you increase bclk till you cant any more so 56x101.1 then in OS it will go up to 56x101.3 etc

I like the gd65 revster, just make sure you have some good non-hyper sticks

I got the 7-10-7 2133 ripjaws for this platform, can not speak to their preformance as they are still awaiting a board ...

I was using 2000 Hypers with no issue with the WS Revolution for the short time I had it

Probably not equitable to a budget less setup I reviewed the kingston Grey series on SB.

1600 mem at stock 1866 minimum at 5ghz. Best improvement. (same main timings). MOAR is always better though just very reduced increases.
