No, the holes aren't threaded. When I designed it I had read someone complaining about bubbles getting trapped in threads and blocking narrow diameter holes. But the more I think about it that wouldn't be a problem with the Patchpot. The horizontal holes form a matrix so that LN2 boils all through the inside from multiple directions.
It's pretty light compared to the F1 EE. I've been working on some plans for the "Beehive" that will weigh a bit more and uses a different design. I'm curious to see if the Patchpot will have enough mass for 12 threaded Gulftown benches. I'll be trying it soon

. More mass only delays the inevitable rise in temps when heat overpowers the evap potential. I'm hoping the Patchpot's increased surface area will be able to prevent the gradual temp rise in wprime 1024 using 12 threads.
