I wanted to use it for my Dice pot but no matter how i positioned the carrying beam for the rod, i couldnt get it to hit center.

What is that for just to hold it place till you bolt your pot down ??

Nope you can actually hold the pot down with it. I have seen this being used by the Japanese benching team a lot. Don't know exactly who had this idea first but its very innovative. I love the Dimas bench station.

So the rod is just in the with the dice and Ln2 ??

It would make insulating the pot a snap ... no retainer to deal with = WIN
