I'm with Jor. It dosnt seem like its taking the voltage. Unfortunately my mm needs batts. So i can't check it atm. Using the OSD in the bench shows that the voltage is stock. Which i believe. I lock right up in 06 at 1000mhz on 1.35. I tried going up as far as 1.45. Nothing. The temps are in range as far as i can see but it could be spiking so quick that the software dosn't have time to read and display it before it freezes up. But honestly i doubt that. Pretty sure we need a hard mod. OC? Is it in the same spot?
Yeah something fishy I guess 1400/1400 only with all the hard mods on and with the voltage cranked.

Problem is hardmod for this card = void warranty or any online sale for that matter, card will die with ya (will be a good paper weight though). It's very extensive and needs removal of several smds etc...

Well Im out of ln2, that started out great and ended up fail

Ran @ 1300/1250 no sweat, but wouldnt go faster with any volts, all the way to 1.6v

All I got was a few hundred point bump in vantage and 03

bwahaha loved the pic dent made my shitty night better

atleast you got 1300 out of it rofl, How much voltage did it want for that?
Could it be that the drivers/afterburner or some shit likes vista over 7?
I guess we got pwnd just like the 7.1ghz 670s

"Massman"
~ vgpu = 1.55V; temp = -100°C

I was running 1475MHz GPU untill halfway GT2 when either OCP or OVP was kicking in. With a bit more time (and ln2), I'm sure 1475 will be Vantage stable ... and then it's only 25MHz away from 1500 .

Also did 105k 03 with safety clocks (1400/1250) ... ran GT4 without any LN2 left ... card warmed up to -80°C

Maybe we are running them too cold?

I was kinda thinking that myself, the colder I got it, the more problems I seemed to have. It ran best right at the first when I was cooling it down still. Once everything got nice and frozen, it became almost impossible to run.

intersting,

Our very own steponz came through with some great intel, he spoke to MSI and they said you need 1.5.1 afterburner which is unavailable at the moments. Its a known bios issue with the current one lol they didnt put that on the box did they

Dent you sure you are getting the voltages to change, or maybe you just have a great clocker. Would you mind dumping your card bios and I can compare it to mine?
