Same basic ideas, just need to relearn voltages. I do not see a big difference between AMD and Intel clocking (X58/AM3). I have not had any 6+ GHz runs yet on either platform though.

You could write us an AMD overclocking guide for us AMD noobs here that wanna maybe go after some AMD hw boints. Plus it would make some great content for the AMD section.

I am sure in the next few days when splave is done freezing his 555 he will have a lot more knowledge than I do

Ordering some RAM for my AMD setup next Wednesday. So if I do not have my kids next weekend I will try and get something together. Umm after I bench for the contest of course
